Come as you are

Do you ever reflect on your past and feel like you’ve done so much wrong? Does it feel like nothing good could be associated with you again? Or perhaps you feel undeserving of forgiveness and compassion?

The Bible is filled with stories of people who felt the same way—people who believed their mistakes had defined them. Yet Jesus met them with love, grace, and a chance for a new beginning.

The tax collector, for instance, lived under the burden of guilt. But everything changed the day he chose to relinquish his pride and follow Jesus.

Jesus extends the same invitation to you today:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28).

No one is excluded from this invitation—not even you. Whether you’re struggling with private issues you’ve never shared with anyone, or you are carrying the weight of your past, Jesus cares for you. He wants to hear you, guide you, and lead you out of your current state into a place of peace and renewal.

Consider also the Samaritan woman at the well (John 4:1–26). She avoided others out of shame, believing her past mistakes defined her. But Jesus met her there, saw her faults, and didn’t condemn her. Instead, He offered her “living water,” a chance for a new beginning.

This new year, take the step to:

  1. Admit and confess your sinful past.
  2. Believe in Christ’s sacrifice and His power to give you a new life.
  3. Commit your life to following Him as your Lord and Savior.

Your best is yet to come!

We’d love to support you on your journey with the Lord. Don’t hesitate—send us a message right now. Let’s walk this path together.
