Have you ever wondered why life can feel so hard? Why there’s so much pain, brokenness, and struggle? Perhaps, you may say it is the devil or all the evil folks around. But the Bible tells us that the root of all our problems isn’t external—it’s internal. It’s the sin in our hearts.
The root problem is sin! Sin is more than just a bad behavior; it’s a condition of the heart. It’s our natural tendency to turn away from God, choosing our own way instead of His. Romans 3:23 says, “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” This rebellion separates us from God, the source of life, peace, and joy.
Trying to fix It ourselves often leads to more pain and futility. We often try to fix our problems with self-help, success, relationships, or distractions, but none of these can address the root issue. Jeremiah 17:9 warns us, “The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it?” We can’t heal ourselves—we need a Savior.
Thankfully, God has the Solution: Jesus in His great love, God provided the only solution in the person of Jesus Christ. He took the punishment for our sins when He died on the cross, offering us forgiveness and a new heart.
2 Corinthians 5:17 promises, “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
And now, what if you are a few steps away from your solution? What must you do now? Acknowledge your sin and your need for God; Repent by turning away from sin and turning toward God; Believe in Jesus as your Savior who died and rose again for you; Surrender your life to Him and let Him transform you from the inside out.
A New Life Awaits! Jesus said, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full” (John 10:10). Only in Him can we find true freedom, peace, and purpose.
If you are ready to let God heal the root of your problems, Pray this now:
“Lord, I confess that I’ve sinned and tried to live life my own way. I need You. I believe that Jesus died for my sins and rose again to give me new life. I surrender to You and ask You to change me from the inside out. Thank You for Your love and forgiveness. Amen.”
If you prayed this prayer, welcome to God’s family! Seek a Bible-believing church and start reading God’s Word to grow in your relationship with Him.
