Wasted years? You can have them back!

Time! That most invaluable and yet elusive asset! It is mostly believed that lost time can never be regained. While this may sound true, it is not applicable when dealing with God who is the author of time and with whom there’s no impossibility!

Have you ever looked back on your life and felt like you wasted precious time? Maybe you spent years chasing things that didn’t satisfy—money, pleasure, or personal ambitions—only to realize they left you empty. Perhaps you drifted away from God, and now you wonder if it’s too late to return.

There’s good news for you: God can restore what’s been lost! The Bible tells us:
“I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten…” (Joel 2:25)

No matter how many years you’ve wasted, God is able to restore your life, give you a fresh purpose, and fill your heart with peace.

There is a precedent. Jesus told a parable about a young man who wasted his inheritance on reckless living (Luke 15:11-32). When he finally realized his mistake, he returned home, expecting rejection. Instead, his father ran to him with open arms, welcoming him back with love and forgiveness. God wants to do the same for you!

And it’s never too late! Paul spent years persecuting Christians before encountering Jesus, but God used him to spread the Gospel. Peter denied Jesus three times, yet he was restored and became a leader in the early church. No matter how much time you feel you’ve lost, God is more interested in your future than your past!

What should you do now? First, repent by acknowledging your wasted years and turning back to God (Acts 3:19). Secondly, receive His Grace – God forgives and restores those who come to Him (Isaiah 1:18). Then, start fresh – live each day for Jesus and let Him guide your steps (2 Corinthians 5:17).

You need to come to Jesus Today! If you’ve been wasting time, don’t wait another day. Jesus is calling you to a life of purpose, peace, and joy in Him.

Pray This Simple Prayer:
“Lord, I know I’ve wasted years living apart from You. Forgive me, cleanse me, and restore what I have lost. I surrender my life to You and ask for a fresh start. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
