The world is ruled by spiritual forces that are contending for the souls of men, and you cannot claim a neutral ground.
Here is what the Word of God says:
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” — Ephesians 6:12 (NKJV)
“In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing clearly the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.” — 2 Corinthians 4:4 (NRSV)
Do not be foolish. Many who once claimed that there is no God later discovered they were wrong. Don’t wait until a desperate need arises or death comes knocking at your door.
“Whoever is not with me is against me, and whoever does not gather with me scatters.” — Luke 11:23 (NRSV)
The presence of peace today is not a guarantee of lasting peace if you have not met Jesus and surrendered to Him. You are either a prey prepped by the enemy for slaughter, or you are more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus.
“Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.” — 1 Peter 5:8 (ESV)
“The thief [Satan] comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.” — John 10:10 (ESV)
Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” — John 8:12 (ESV)
” Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. ” — John 3:18 (ESV)
The Bible is clear:
- You are in a spiritual war (Ephesians 6:12).
- You cannot be neutral (Matthew 12:30).
- Without Christ, you are prey for the enemy (1 Peter 5:8).
- But in Jesus, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37).
If you haven’t surrendered to Jesus, today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).
Here’s how to begin, make a desicion to:
- Repent – Turn from sin.
- Believe – Trust Christ’s death and resurrection for your salvation.
- Submit – Live under His lordship.
