“You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.” – 1 John 4:4
Every believer will face enemies—seen and unseen: fear, doubt, temptation, sickness, oppression, and even people who oppose us. But no matter the form they take, they are no match for our God.
First, God is on your side. Scripture affirms this:
“If God is for us, who can be against us?” – Romans 8:31
You are never outnumbered when God is with you. He is your Defender, your Refuge, and your Strength in the battle.
Jesus has already won the victory for us!
“Having disarmed the powers and authorities, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.” – Colossians 2:15
The cross wasn’t a defeat—it was the greatest victory in history. Jesus crushed the enemy’s power. We fight from victory, not for it.
You have been given authority!
“I have given you authority… to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” – Luke 10:19
As a child of God, you don’t have to live in fear. Through Christ, you have spiritual authority to stand against darkness and overcome.
Remember: the enemy may roar, but he’s powerless against God.
“The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is His name.” – Exodus 15:3
The enemy may intimidate, accuse, and deceive—but God is a Mighty Warrior who defends His people. And He never loses a battle.
Victory belongs to the Lord!
“The Lord your God is He who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.” – Deuteronomy 20:4
Your strength may fail, but His never will. When you feel weak, lean on the One who is all-powerful.
The enemy is real. But God is greater.
Don’t give up. Don’t retreat. The God inside you is stronger than the opposition around you. Lift your eyes. Stand your ground. And walk boldly in the strength of the Lord.
In Christ, you are already an overcomer.
