From our first breath, life becomes a journey—through childhood, youth, and adulthood—filled with unexpected turns, deep valleys, and mountain peaks. Yet, life is more than our experiences; it has purpose. God has designed each step and has not left us to wander alone.
Like travelers in a vast land, we need a compass to guide us when the way is uncertain. That compass is Jesus Christ. The Bible says, “In Him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:4–5). His light directs our path, His truth keeps us steady, and His love draws us forward when we feel like giving up.
We are also blessed with a Guide—the Holy Spirit—who strengthens us, teaches us, and leads us in the right way.
Every journey has a destination. The roads of this world end in many places, but only one leads to eternal life with God. Without Jesus, we may gain the world yet lose our true purpose. But with Him, we find meaning for today and hope for eternity.
So, which compass are you following?
If you would like to begin this journey with the right compass, pray this prayer:
“Lord Jesus, thank You for giving Yourself for me. Today, I commit myself to You. Please save my soul, deliver me from sin, and guide me by Your Holy Spirit. Lead me on the path of life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
If you prayed this prayer—congratulations! 🎉 You’ve made the most important decision of your life. We’d love to hear from you and support your new journey with Christ. God bless you!
