The Great Shepherd

“Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, Thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; Thou that dwellest between the cherubims, shine forth.” — Psalm 80:1

She was once the envy of many — chosen, blessed, and destined for greatness. But along the way, she drifted from her Shepherd. The voice that once guided her grew faint, and the light that once shone brightly began to fade. Like many today, she forgot what it means to be led.

The Shepherd Who Leads

God is called the Shepherd of Israel — the One who leads His people like a flock. A shepherd is not distant; he is close, guiding and protecting every step of the way.

A True Shepherd:

Leads — showing the right path in times of confusion.

Guides — giving direction and purpose.

Protects — defending from danger.

Restores — lifting the weak and healing the broken.

This is what Jesus does for all who follow Him. As David declared, “The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not want.” When you come under His care, you enjoy His wisdom, protection, and peace.

Life Without the Shepherd

Without Jesus, life is like a house without walls — exposed to every storm. You may have success or fame, yet still lack true peace. A life without the Shepherd is a life without direction or safety. But when Jesus leads, you are never alone. He walks with you through every valley and brings you to rest and victory.

The Shepherd Still Calls

Today, the Shepherd calls the lost, the weary, and the broken. He says, “Come unto Me… and I will give you rest.” Maybe you once knew Him but wandered away, or perhaps you’ve never known His voice. This is your moment to return — to come under His loving care.

Come Under the Shepherd Now

If you would like to surrender to Jesus, pray this with faith:

Father, I surrender my life to You. Lead me under Your shepherdhood. Guide me, protect me, and let Your Spirit dwell in me. Shine Your light upon me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

If you prayed that prayer, welcome to the fold of the Great Shepherd, Jesus Christ. You are no longer alone — you are loved, guided, and safe in His care.
We’ll like to connect with you, send us a message right now. God bless you.
