A new year has dawned! New opportunities and new beginnings are before us. God is calling you, not to remain where you were, but to arise and shine.
ARISE — COME OUT OF DARKNESS
The Bible says:
“The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light.” (Isaiah 9:2)
Darkness may represent fear, sin, failure, disappointment, or spiritual sleep. God’s call is clear: Get up!
- Arise from hopelessness.
- Arise from yesterday’s mistakes.
- Arise from spiritual slumber.
This new year is not for sitting still, it is for rising in faith.
SHINE — LET CHRIST BE SEEN IN YOU
Jesus said:
“Ye are the light of the world.” (Matthew 5:14)
To shine is to reflect Christ in:
- Your words
- Your character
- Your conduct
When Christ lives in you, your life becomes a testimony. Your light brings hope to others and glory to God.
IT’S A NEW YEAR — GOD MAKES ALL THINGS NEW
“If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
A new calendar alone cannot change a life—but a new heart in Christ can.
God offers forgiveness for the past, strength for today, and hope for the future.
THE CHOICE IS YOURS
This year can be:
Another year of struggle, or
A year of salvation, purpose, and divine direction.
“Today, if ye will hear His voice, harden not your hearts.” (Hebrews 3:15)
CHOOSE TO ARISE NOW!
Say this prayer: Lord Jesus, I respond to Your call. I arise from darkness and receive Your light. Make me new. Help me shine for Your glory in this new year. Amen.
