John had just gone through a painful divorce. Then, on a Wednesday morning, he arrived at work only to discover he could no longer log in. Moments later, he was told the company was downsizing and his job had been terminated.
As if that were not enough, a recent medical report revealed he had hypertension. Everything seemed to collapse at once. Fear, anxiety, and hopelessness overwhelmed him. He felt trapped, abandoned, and exhausted by life itself.
Dark thoughts began to creep in. He turned to alcohol, smoking, and anything that promised temporary escape — but nothing could silence the pain within.
“Is there really a way out?” he cried.
Yes, there is.
Jesus said: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Holy Bible teaches us about Job — a man who lost his children, business, health, and peace in what seemed like a single moment. Even his wife and friends believed his life was over. Yet Job held firmly to his faith in God, and in the end, God restored him stronger, wiser, and greater than before.
Friend, faith in Christ is not religion — it is a lifeline. When life becomes dark and unbearable, the Holy Spirit brings peace, strength, direction, and hope. God’s Word reminds us that your story is not over and that all things work together for good to those who love God.
You are not worthless. You are not forgotten. Your life is precious, and with Christ, there is hope beyond today’s pain.
If you have not started a relationship with Jesus, today can be your new beginning. He wants to hear from you, guide you, and carry you through every storm. Reach out to Him in prayer today.
God bless you.
