Jesus said:
“I go to prepare a place for you… I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”
— John 14:2–3.
There is a place Jesus has gone to prepare for us, a place where we will be with Him forever. That place is Heaven.
Everything around us is temporary. Our possessions, achievements, positions, pleasures, relationships, and even our troubles will eventually pass away. But the Word of God remains forever.
Jesus said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
This is why we must not allow the temporary things of this world to become the ultimate focus of our lives. This life is not the end. Eternity awaits.
Jesus came to reconcile sinful humanity to God. Through His death and resurrection, He opened the way for us to receive forgiveness and eternal life.
Yes, this life may contain beautiful moments, but it also brings pain, sorrow, disappointment, sickness, and loss. Earth is not our final destination. Our ultimate hope is to be with the Lord.
Imagine a place where death, sorrow, crying, and pain are no more, and where we dwell in God’s presence forever (Revelation 21:4).
But the question is: Will you be ready when Jesus comes?
No one knows the day or hour (Matthew 24:36). Therefore, do not postpone your decision to follow Christ. Today is the day of salvation.
