Bartimaeus cried out, “Son of David, have mercy on me.” And Jesus stopped and looked in his direction.
Imagine that moment. A man who had struggled for years, calling for help while people around him told him to be quiet. But Bartimaeus refused to give up. He had heard about Jesus, the One who had helped others, healed others, and changed lives. So he cried out, and Jesus heard him.
Friend, maybe you have been struggling for a long time too. Maybe your situation has made you tired, and people have told you to stop hoping. But don’t stop calling on Jesus.
Cry out to Him. Surrender it all to Him. He is still willing and able to help, rescue, and turn your story around.
I have tasted and seen that the Lord is good.
