Many Christians continue to live in fear, guilt, bondage, and defeat, even though Christ has already won the victory. The words of Jesus, “Thou art loosed,” remind us that He came not only to forgive sins but also to set people free.
“Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.” (Luke 13:12 KJV)
Through His death and resurrection, Jesus broke the power of sin, Satan, and condemnation over everyone who believes in Him. As Scripture declares, “If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed” (John 8:36, KJV).
Being loosed does not mean we will never face trials. It means we are no longer slaves to sin, fear, hopelessness, or the devil’s accusations. We have been given authority to walk in the liberty Christ has provided.
If you are carrying the burden of guilt, bitterness, addiction, fear, or discouragement, come to Jesus. He is still calling people into freedom today. Believe His Word, walk in obedience, and refuse to return to the chains from which He has delivered you.
Remember:
- You are loosed from the guilt of sin through Christ.
- You are loosed from condemnation (Romans 8:1).
- You are called to stand fast in the liberty Christ has given you (Galatians 5:1).
- Walk daily in the freedom that belongs to every child of God.

Lord Jesus, thank You for setting me free through Your sacrifice. Help me to walk in the liberty You have given me and not return to the bondage of sin, fear, or unbelief. Strengthen me to live as a victorious child of God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
